H1-KEY are set to make their return later this month. On June 2, the group’s agency, GLG, confirmed that the K-pop act will be releasing a new album on June 26. While the title and pre-release schedule remain under wraps, more information is expected to be shared in the coming weeks.
According to GLG, the upcoming album will explore a more varied range of sounds and styles compared to the group’s previous work. This marks their first release in nearly a year, following the June 2024 mini-album ‘Love or Hate’, which featured tracks like ‘Let it Burn’, ‘ Letter’, ‘Iconic’, and ‘Rainfalls’.
Ahead of that earlier release, the group reflected on the emotional depth of their music and the impact of songs like ‘Rose Blossom’, which they felt had introduced them to the healing potential of music. One member, Riina, had said that their work often speaks to young listeners and touches on themes like personal growth, emotional struggles, and the importance of living with sincerity rather than indifference.

H1-KEY Aim to Create Music That Leaves a Lasting Emotional Impact
The quartet also shared their long-term aspirations, expressing hope that their songs could become meaningful companions for listeners. They explained that while their music might not completely change someone’s life, they hoped it could offer encouragement or leave an emotional mark. Reflecting on how older generations often associate songs with specific life moments or challenges, they said that creating music with that kind of lasting impact is what drives them.
