Hallmark Channel has officially announced a third instalment in its beloved 'Three Wise Men' Christmas movie series, with fan-favourite trio Tyler Hynes, Andrew Walker, and Paul Campbell reuniting once again. Following the success of 'Three Wise Men and a Baby' in 2022 and its 2024 sequel 'Three Wiser Men and a Boy', the upcoming movie will continue the Brenner brothers' holiday adventures.
Kicking off Hallmark’s 16th annual 'Countdown to Christmas', the new holiday film starts filming this summer and is set to hit screens later in 2024, just in time to cosy up with. While the official title and plot details are still under wraps, the returning cast includes Margaret Colin as the Brenner brothers’ mother. The story will follow the brothers as they put together a holiday pageant for young Thomas while navigating unexpected family challenges, including their mom’s new boyfriend.

This third entry builds on a franchise that has quickly become a seasonal staple. The first movie ranked as the No. 1 original cable film of 2022, while the second secured the title of Hallmark’s second most-watched Christmas movie of 2024.
Hallmark Media’s VP of programming, Jennifer Kramer, highlighted just how deeply the franchise resonates with fans, calling it “funny, heartwarming, and a celebration of family and brotherhood.” She even gave a nod to the first film’s viral dance scene, saying it played a big part in making it a holiday staple.

While no screenwriters have been confirmed yet, Paul Campbell and Kimberley Sustad co-wrote the previous two instalments, raising hopes they may return.
In addition to the film, Hynes, Walker, and Campbell are currently appearing in Hallmark’s reality series 'Christmas at Sea' and will be part of the Hallmark Christmas Cruise, Christmas Experience in Kansas City, and Christmas Con in New Jersey later this year.
Fans can look forward to more holiday cheer when 'Three Wise Men' 3 premieres later this year alongside other festive Hallmark features, including 'A Newport Christmas', 'Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story', and the new baking competition 'Baked with Love: Holiday'.
