Despite stepping away from feature films for over a decade, acclaimed director Peter Jackson has confirmed that he is not retired from directing and is actively working on new projects for the big screen.

Best known for 'The Lord of the Rings' trilogy and 'King Kong', Jackson hasn’t helmed a cinematic release since 2014’s 'The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies'. Since then, his directorial focus has shifted to television documentaries, including the critically acclaimed 'They Shall Not Grow Old' in collaboration with the BBC and 'The Beatles: Get Back for Disney+.
