Hollywood actress Jennifer Aniston, is eager to see a different side of India that is very different from movie sets and wedding scenes. The 'Friends,' and 'Morning Show' actress recently stated in an interview that she intends to go to a silent retreat and practice meditation on her next trip to India.

Aniston, who is well-known for her serene, grounded demeanour, stated that she want to spend more time connecting with India's spiritual traditions rather than just the "fun" aspect of the nation that she encountered while filming 'Murder Mystery 2.' Fans are excited to see the Hollywood star appreciate India's richer cultural traditions, and her remarks have struck a chord with them.

From Bollywood Style Weddings to Spiritual Yearning

During her last trip to India, Jennifer Aniston filmed a grandiose Indian wedding scene for 'Murder Mystery 2,' which was full of vivid celebrations, traditional clothing, and vibrant colours. Although she called the encounter "amazing," and "visually stunning," she acknowledged that she is now yearning for something far more introspective and intimate.

Aniston made the joking remark that dancing through a lavish wedding scenario definitely doesn't qualify as a true Indian experience.

Rather, she conveyed a sincere desire to learn more about India's more subdued, spiritual offerings, such as meditation and silent retreats, which have grown in popularity among tourists from across the world who are looking for calm and awareness.

Her comments reveal an increasing interest in Eastern customs and a wish to escape the bustle of her well-known profession in order to find inner peace.

Spiritual Journey and Why It Matters Now

Currently promoting Season 4 of 'The Morning Show,' which premiered on Apple TV+ in mid-September 2025, Aniston has been reflecting on what matters most to her. She mentioned the immense support from Indian fans with co-star Reese Witherspoon, saying it has strengthened her sense of kinship with the nation.

However, Aniston is now putting more of an emphasis on wellness, self-care, and meaningful travel than she did on performing. She recently said that one of the final things on her career bucket list is still to play in a Broadway play, in addition to her aspirations for a quiet retreat.

Aniston is obviously leaning toward experiences that provide her serenity, meaning, and personal development as she embarks on a new chapter in her life, and her intended spiritual trek across India fits right in with that.
