Thom Yorke, known for his work with Radiohead and The Smile, has released a new track called ‘Dialing In’ for the Apple TV+ series ‘Smoke’. The song blends Yorke’s distinctive vocals with subtle bell sounds and dark instrumental layers, crafting an intense and atmospheric mood suited to the show.
Before its official release, Yorke performed an earlier version of the song live under the title ‘Gawpers’. The track has since been updated to better reflect the series’ themes.

Dennis Lehane, creator and executive producer of ‘Smoke’, said that collaborating with Yorke was a great privilege. He shared that Yorke took a simple concept and developed it into a powerful piece that perfectly captures the spirit of the show.
‘Dialing In’ is now available in both standard and immersive Atmos audio. The series is scheduled to premiere worldwide on Apple TV+ on 27th June.
‘Tall Tales’ Collaboration With Mark Pritchard
Earlier this year, Yorke teamed up with Mark Pritchard on the album ‘Tall Tales’, which was released on 9th May and includes the song ‘Gangsters’. Meanwhile, rumours have surfaced about Radiohead planning residency-style concerts in Europe this fall, though the band has not officially confirmed these plans.
