Taylor Swift stands out with an impressive eight nominations, while SZA has secured six, and Doja Cat, Kim Petras, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Olivia Rodrigo, and Sam Smith have each earned five nods. Notably, all these artists are contenders in the highly coveted ‘Video of the Year’ category. This year's edition of the VMAs introduces a notable roster of first-time nominees, totalling 35 in number.
