Calvin Harris And Ellie Goulding’s ‘Miracle’ Reaches No. 1 on The U.K. Chart
Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding have created a MIRACLE! After becoming a fan-favourite, the song has now peaked at No.1 on the U.K. chart blast. The song leaped over Miley Cyrus’ ‘Flowers’ to push it onto No. 2 and Ed Sheeran’s ‘Eyes Closed’ is at No. 3 according to the Official Chart Update. According to the Official Charts Company, the top three songs are just 2,000 chart units apart at the midweek stage. The song spent three weeks on the chart but never managed to be on top because of the 10-week unbroken reign of ‘Flowers’. If it manages to stay atop by the end of the week, it would become Harris’ 11th No. 1 and Goulding’s fourth U.K. chart leader. The duo has previously landed hits with ‘I Need Your Love’ and ‘Outside’. ‘Miracle’ is a throwback rave tune and the music video for the same was released just recently. A new ‘Church Version’ which features Goulding’s vocals were recorded at St. Bartholomew The Great, London’s oldest surviving church.
