Shawn Mendes is celebrating Earth Day early this year with his sustainable Tommy Hilfiger collaboration, ‘Tommy X Shawn Classics Reborn’. The collection involves 28-piece men's and women's wear items. The ad for the collaboration features Mendes’ sister Aaliyah Mendes, artist/songwriter and friend Jon Vinyl, producer Mike Sabath, artist Ahmad Cissé, author/model Maye Musk, designer Czarina Kwong, models Yvesmark Chery and Jane Pathammavong and champion for change Deprise Lons. “I’m so excited to be working with my Tommy Hilfiger family on the Classics Reborn collection,” said Mendes about the line that features clothing items crafted from recycled textiles and Recycrom. Recycrom is a new dye-making technique that reprocesses fibers by turning pre-consumer factory cutting waste into a coloured powder, thus minimizing the waste in all stages of production. “The collection is so special to me because I was able to work with Tommy Hilfiger to co-create this range which includes these amazing, high-quality, sustainable versions of their most classic clothing items.”  “What if we could reinvent what once was tossed aside?” Mendes asks in the ad that uses the brand’s signature red, white and blue colour palette. “Take it, remake it, change is always vital. There’s not better time to surround yourself with inspiration, with people who move you. With clothing made from discarded fabrics, coloured with memories and reborn into new icons.”

BLACKPINK’s Jennie has made it to Calvin Klein’s brand-new black and white spring campaign. She features alongside the likes of fellow ambassadors like FKA Twigs, Kendall Jenner, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Michael B. Jordan. Jennie posted her pictures from the photoshoot on her Instagram account, reaffirming her long-running partnership with the fashion house. In the spring advertisements released by Calvin Klein, Jennie stuns with long, dark waves and chopped bangs, along with minimal makeup and different Calvin Klein looks. She wore different combinations of sports bra and underwear sets with a jean jacket in a few photos. The most adorable thing in the photos was the kitten she was posing next to! She also featured in a solo video where she is modelling more underwear and denim looks to The White Stripes’ ‘I Just Don’t Know What to do With Myself’. In the video, she sensually bites a petal off a rose flower alongside the lyrics, ‘Like a summer rose…’ Calvin Klein’s focus is on “soft minimalism” which was mentioned in the photos posted by the brand on their official Instagram account. 

It’s a good day for all Nicki Minaj fans! She shared a video teaser for her latest single, ‘Red Ruby Da Sleeze’ on her Instagram account. She wore a strappy black swimsuit in the teaser video. Another footage shows her wearing a 'red ruby' coloured silk robe, which she then takes off to show her bathing suit. The singer is seen ferociously rapping on the top of a deck that overlooks the ocean.  There are not many details about the music video other than the fact that it was filmed in her home island of Trinidad and Tobago when she was there for the island’s 2023 Carnival festivities. The song debuted at No. 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The rapper has interpolated Lumidee’s ‘Never Leave You (Uh Oooh, Uh Oooh)’ which peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2003. This is also what she did to her 2022 Hot 100 No. 1 hit ‘Super Freaky Girl,’ which sampled Rick James’ 1981 song ‘Super Freak.’
