Could a Dua Lipa, Charli XCX and Troye Sivan Collab Be in the Works?

Charli XCX has dropped a mysterious new post, sparking speculation of a possible collaboration with Troye Sivan and Dua Lipa. Fresh off wrapping up her ‘Brat’ summer — a viral sensation fuelled by her album’s social media takeover — the singer is now teasing that a new release may be imminent.

Recently, Charli XCX posted on her private Instagram account, 360_brat, which many believe hints at a remix of one of her 'Brat' tracks.

Originally launched to tease ‘Brat’-related projects, the account shared a new post on 8^th September, featuring a voice note of Dua Lipa speaking in Spanish. In the clip, Dua says, "Charli, Troye, un besito para ti," which translates to "Charli, Troye, a little kiss for you."

This has led some to believe that the trio may be dropping a remix of the track ‘Talk Talk’, as the original song's outro features Charli singing:--

“Talk to me in French / talk to me in Spanish / talk to me in your own made-up language”.

“Dua Lipa on the Charli xcx feat Troye Sivan talk talk remix…..talk to me in spanish yup!” one fan wrote on Twitter/X upon seeing the update, speculating if the post could indicate a collaboration.

If the cryptic post does indeed hint at a remix featuring both Sivan and Lipa, it would coincide with Charli XCX and Troye Sivan preparing for their upcoming ‘Sweat’ tour, which kicks off later this month.

The tour begins on 14^th September at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit and will hit cities like Boston, New York, Toronto, Phoenix, and Los Angeles before wrapping up in Seattle on 23^rd October. Though the remix remains unconfirmed by Sivan, Charli, or Lipa, the speculation follows Paris Hilton expressing interest in collaborating with the ‘Von Dutch’ singer.

“Every time I’ve spoken with [Charli] she’s like, ‘You’ve always been such an inspiration to my music.’ So I just think it just makes so much sense for us to do a song together,” she said.
