Lady Gaga has been seen filming at the Louvre, sparking fan theories that it's for a music video tied to her upcoming seventh album. Currently promoting her role as Harley Quinn in ‘Joker: Folie à Deux’, Gaga recently teased her schedule, which included press conferences and a red carpet for the film’s premiere. Eagle-eyed fans noticed a cryptic entry, “XX October: LG7 first single,” hinting at the lead single’s imminent release. Gaga later confirmed in an interview with Vogue that her album will drop in February 2025.

The new single marks her first fresh release since last month’s surprise collaboration with Bruno Mars, ‘Die With A Smile’. This album will also be her first solo project since 2020’s ‘Chromatica’.

Fans are now speculating that Gaga’s Louvre sighting is related to the album. Shared photos on Twitter/X reveal her standing on a balcony at the museum, overlooking professional lighting and film equipment below. Gaga’s use of the iconic Louvre follows in the footsteps of other artists like Beyoncé and Jay-Z, who filmed their ‘Apes**t’ video there in 2018. Lorde also paid homage to the museum with a track on her ‘Melodrama’ album.

Although little is known about LG7, Gaga has shared glimpses of her time in the studio throughout the year and even played snippets from the album for fans in Paris in July, shortly after her performance at the Olympics opening ceremony.

The singer’s busy schedule has also included a high-profile collaboration with the Rolling Stones and Stevie Wonder last year, as well as acting roles in ‘House of Gucci’ and the upcoming ‘Joker’ sequel. In 2021, she released ‘Love For Sale’, her final album with the late Tony Bennett.

Lady Gaga’s latest creative endeavours reveal her as a multifaceted artist, constantly shifting between music, film and high-profile collaborations.
