With the release of her upcoming song, ‘Jealous Type,’ on 21st August, Doja Cat is formally beginning a new era. Fans could pre-listen to the song as early as 7th August, and the announcement coincided with the release of the single's colourful cover art on 12th August. In order to create excitement among her millions of fans, Doja also posted an eye-catching Instagram post with the cover art and release details. Adding to this, she confirmed on social media (in French) that the album is complete.

The lead track, ‘Jealous Type,’ will be taken from her much awaited fifth studio album, ‘Vie,’ which will be dropping on 26th September. Earlier this month, she gave the audience a preview of the song during her performance at the Outside Lands festival.
