Emma Stone recently looked back on her time in 'The Amazing Spider-Man' franchise and shared how meaningful the experience was to her both personally and professionally. While speaking with Vogue and revisiting some of her most memorable red carpet looks, the actress paused on an image from the 2014 London premiere of 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2', where she was dressed in a striking yellow Versace gown.
Emma Stone described that era of her career as a particularly special chapter. She explained that working on the Spider-Man films brought her close to several people who played an important role in her life, including Andrew Garfield, Sally Field, and director Marc Webb. She emphasised that it was the people and relationships that stayed with her the most, much more than the films themselves. Those memories, she said, remained incredibly meaningful.

What Emma Stone Remembers From Her Time on Spider-Man?
However, Emma Stone admitted that not everything about the franchise was glamorous. One aspect she did not miss from that time was the intense global press tours required for blockbuster movies. She recalled travelling across nine countries in just a couple of weeks, operating under extreme jet lag, and feeling completely drained during much of that period. Though she looked stunning on the red carpet, she said it was one of the most exhausting experiences she’d ever had.
Stone played Gwen Stacy, the love interest of Peter Parker, played by Andrew Garfield, in both 'The Amazing Spider-Man' films. In the second movie, her character’s dramatic death scene remains one of the most emotional moments in the franchise.
