Powell's career trajectory has been remarkable, spanning romantic comedies, high-octane action films, and upcoming projects like 'The Running Man,' showcases his versatility as an actor. While 'Anyone But You' and other recent productions have shown that he can handle a wide range of roles, he gained international recognition for his intense and captivating performance in 'Top Gun: Maverick.' But even with the momentum, he isn't quite used to the pressures of fame.

In an interview with The Guardian, he reflected: "I love acting. I love the process…I'm not exhausted by that—it's fun. But the exhausting part…is when I'm in the real world right now." The movie set is still Powell's comfort zone since it allows him to concentrate on his art and teamwork rather than the elements of fame that deplete him off-set, such as paparazzi, social media attention, and public appearances.

The Challenges of "Fame" and a Focus on Family

The actor's reflections on "fame" come as he recently moved back from Los Angeles to his native Texas, seeking a more normal, family-centered life away from the relentless Hollywood spotlight. Powell revealed in an open discussion during the same interview that although acting is his passion, the demands and expectations of fame can be too much to handle.

He also talked about his anxiety of making a mistake in public and how the attention might impact his personal life, stressing the need of having a supportive family close by to keep things in balance.

Powell's continuous commitment to his craft is demonstrated by the fact that he is still working on new projects, such as 'The Running Man,' which is set for its release on 7th November. His approach reflects a conscious effort to balance career ambitions with a grounded, fulfilling life, proving that even Hollywood stars want to prioritize family and well-being over constant limelight.
