Kim Kardashian has sparked new controversy after expressing disbelief in one of history's most iconic moments—the 1969 moon landing.

During the 30th October episode of 'The Kardashians,' the 45-year-old reality star shared her scepticism about the Apollo 11 mission, claiming she does not believe astronauts ever set foot on the lunar surface. The moment unfolded while Kim was filming scenes for her upcoming Hulu legal drama 'All's Fair,' alongside actress Sarah Paulson.

Kim Kardashian on Recent Moon Landing Buzz

Between takes, Kim Kardashian was seen showing Paulson a collection of articles and videos she had found online, insisting they raised questions about whether Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong actually made it to the moon. She told her co-star that she regularly comes across interviews where Aldrin supposedly makes comments suggesting the landing didn't happen, and she interprets those moments as accidental admissions.

Paulson appeared intrigued but cautious, saying she planned to research what Kim had sent her. In a later confessional, Kim Kardashian admitted she often shares conspiracy theories with Paulson, calling it one of their ongoing inside jokes on set.

Kim Kardashian Says Moon Landing Footage Staged

When pressed by a producer to clarify her stance, Kim doubled down, explaining that she believes the moon landing footage was staged. She pointed to several common conspiracy claims—such as the movement of the American flag, inconsistencies in the astronaut footprints, and the absence of visible stars in photos—as reasons for her doubt.

Scientists have long debunked all of these claims, noting that the flag's movement was caused by inertia, the prints matched the astronauts' space boots, and the camera exposure used during filming prevented stars from appearing in the bright lunar landscape.

Kim Kardashian acknowledged that her views would likely attract criticism but said she doesn't mind, insisting that people can explore the theories themselves through online platforms like TikTok.

While Kim remains unconvinced, Buzz Aldrin has repeatedly reaffirmed the authenticity of the Apollo 11 mission. In past interviews, the former astronaut has spoken proudly about the landmark achievement and his role in the first successful lunar landing, marking 55 years since the historic event.

The episode quickly gained traction online, with fans debating Kim Kardashian's comments and her embrace of conspiracy theories. Many pointed out that her remarks could reignite long-running internet discussions about NASA’s historic feat.

New episodes of 'The Kardashians' premiere Thursdays on Hulu, where viewers can continue to follow the stars' latest ventures—and, apparently, their most controversial opinions yet.
