Miley Cyrus is receiving support from fans after a viral video sparked criticism of her conduct during a recent signing event in London. The appearance took place on Saturday, 21st June, at Rough Trade, where the singer was promoting her new single ‘Every Girl You’ve Ever Loved’, featuring supermodel Naomi Campbell. Both stars were present to sign vinyl copies of the track, which appears on Cyrus’ latest album ‘Something Beautiful’.
Shortly after the event, a clip began circulating online suggesting that Cyrus and Campbell were more focused on speaking to each other than interacting with fans. Some viewers interpreted this as the pair ignoring attendees, leading to a wave of negative comments on social media. Several users expressed disappointment, claiming the experience felt impersonal or dismissive.
One fan wrote that the behaviour was “awful and disrespectful”, while others urged Cyrus to “treat your fans better next time”. Another described the moment as “rude” and said the stars seemed uninterested in the crowd gathered to see them.

However, many other attendees quickly came to Cyrus’ defence, stating that the short video misrepresented what actually happened. Some pointed out that the footage had been clipped from a livestream and posted by someone who was not at the venue. Supporters described the event as unforgettable, sharing stories of travelling long distances just to meet the singer. One person called the experience “the craziest 24 hours” of their life after flying in from Milan.
As of now, neither Cyrus nor Campbell has addressed the criticism surrounding the event.
Mixed Reactions to ‘Something Beautiful’ and Accompanying Film
‘Something Beautiful’, which features 13 tracks, has been described by fans as a bold and emotionally rich record. Cyrus has also been in the spotlight for an accompanying film tied to the album, which recently stirred confusion when attendees expecting a live concert reacted to its screening with surprise. Some fans were caught on camera voicing frustration, believing they had paid for a performance rather than a film.
Despite the divided opinions, Cyrus is still being praised for the artistic vision and musical growth showcased on ‘Something Beautiful’.
