Travis Scott Recruits Future for Remix of ‘Franchise’

Travis Scott recruits Future for a remix of Franchise

Travis Scott has extended his music world takeover with a remix of his latest track, ‘Franchise’, or at least, he’s sure to. The rapper just recruited fellow artist, Future, for a remix of the track that originally featured Young Thug and M.I.A. The bass-heavy, trap track now features a verse by Future, and marks their fourth collaboration. Travis and Future previously worked on ‘3500’, ‘Solitaires’ and ‘First Off’ together. Further, the track retains the original guest verses. And so, the current remix is chock-a-block full of action from various hip-hop connoisseurs.

In addition, ‘Franchise’ featuring M.I.A and Young Thug, just debuted atop the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. Now, this score marked Scott’s third No. 1 debut atop the chart within a year – the first two being ‘Highest in the Room’ and ‘The Scotts’ featuring Kid Cudi. Further, the hot debut also marked M.I.A’s first debut atop the chart as well as first ever No. 1 on the rankings. And, while it gave Scott his fourth No. 1 debut, it also made him the first and only artist to have accumulated 3 #1s in the span of less than one year, in the chart’s history.

‘Franchise’ by Travis Scott, Young Thug and M.I.A tallied 19.4 million streams in its debut week. Further, the #1 pushed Scott into an elite group of chart rankers. And, while he has officially surpassed Ariana Grande with the shortest No.1 debuts, he joins her in the list of artists with at least three No. 1 debuts. Ariana Grande continues to stand tall with 4 hot debuts, while fellow artists – Justin Bieber, Mariah Carey, and Drake trail behind with 3.
‘Franchise’ by Future, Young Thug and M.I.A is now available on all streaming platforms.
