Jamie xx Announces 10th Anniversary Reissue of Acclaimed Debut Album ‘In Colour’

Jamie xx marks 10 years of ‘In Colour’ with a picture disc reissue out Nov 14. He’ll also headline the first-ever LIDO Festival on June 7 and tour festivals in 2025. The xx have confirmed they’re back in the studio, working on new music.

Jamie xx has announced a special 10th anniversary reissue of his debut solo album, ‘In Colour’. The album, originally released on May 29, 2015, is set to return later this year as a limited edition picture disc featuring its iconic cover art. Titled ‘In Colour – 10 Year Anniversary Picture Disc’, the reissue is scheduled for release on November 14 via Young.

The acclaimed project includes tracks such as ‘Loud Places’ featuring Romy, ‘Gosh’, and ‘I Know There’s Gonna Be (Good Times)’ featuring Young Thug and Popcaan. Upon its release, the album received critical praise, with NME awarding it 9/10 and calling it a euphoric work shaped by Jamie xx’s impeccable creative choices.

‘In Colour’ was a commercial and critical success, peaking at Number Three in the UK Albums Chart. It was also shortlisted for the Mercury Prize, nominated for Album of the Year at the BRIT Awards, and received a Grammy nomination for Best Dance/Electronic Album.

Jamie xx to Headline Inaugural LIDO Festival 

Looking ahead, Jamie xx is set to headline the debut edition of LIDO Festival at Victoria Park in East London on June 7. He curated the festival’s lineup himself, which includes artists such as Romy, Panda Bear, John Glacier, Arca, Sampha, DJ Gigola, Shy One, and Wookie. Additional performers like Nia Archives and Shy FX have also joined the bill, and a B2B set featuring Jamie xx and Skrillex has been confirmed.

His 2025 schedule includes appearances at Primavera Sound in Barcelona and various other festivals across Europe and North America throughout the summer.

Meanwhile, The xx recently shared that they are back in the studio, working on new material. Their most recent album, ‘I See You’, was released in 2017.
